Hi! I’m Jane and I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 50 years. I graduated from the Michigan College of Beauty and have had invaluable experiences in this industry since. Through my journey, I was on the design team for London Hair and was a previous salon owner at VIP Hair Designs Salon in Charleston, South Carolina. During my time down south, I received my teaching certificate in methods of trade teaching from the University of South Carolina. Life brought me back to Michigan shortly after where I proudly worked for JC Penney for 21 years and was deemed a Master Stylist.

I’ve written articles for In Style Magazine and have been published in Modern Magazine. On top of that experience, I worked for Matrix as an educator for 8 years where I got to travel to many salons around Michigan and teach the tricks of the trade to eager stylists. It was just 3 years ago when I decided to take the leap and open Margaret Sullivan’s Salon. It has been an absolute dream to have my own place and meet so many wonderful people. Margaret Sullivan’s Salon offers customized haircuts and styling, waxing, up to date highlighting and coloring techniques including balayage and hair painting, with ammonia free/ health forward hair color.
